Irish - what a fun little girl. Irish is a Flyer granddaughter was bred by Aim Hi Goldens.
I adore her mother Teal (Flyer x Flame) and when Bev (Aim-Hi Goldens) bred Teal, I was lucky enough to get Irish.
We knew that Flyer was getting older and having a Flyer granddaughter was special to me.
Irish got her name from the orange and green Scribbles marker that Bev put on her.
The flag of Ireland is orange, green and white and the litter theme was “Irish” so I went from “ look at the little Irish girl” to just calling her “Irish”.
Irish finished her Canadian championship easily, then her career was delayed due to a family illness.
August 2009 Irish was back in the ring and finished her American championship with a 5 point major from the classes going Best of Breed over 5 specials. What a way to finish!
Thank you judge Eugene Blake and also a big thanks to Colleen McDowell for showing her to perfection.
Irish has all her health clearances and is OFA good, (hips), elbows, heart, eyes and thyroid cleared. Irish will be bred late winter 2009.
She is the 2nd champion from the Teal X Talon litter to finish. Darby, her sister, is also an American champion and currently has a litter of puppies that can be seen at http://www.aimhigr.com
Right now Irish is Champion of the couch, waiting for the snow to fall so she can roll around in the snow making snow-goldens..
